WOW (Women of Worth) Conference 2011

Our 4th annual Women of Worth Conference, 15-16 April, was a very successful conference.

Some have commented that it was the best ever!  The two main speakers, Janice McClung and Diane Spicer touched our hearts at the very core.  Lives were changed!

Janice McClung

Janice and her husband, Dr. Grant McClung, have been involved in overseas missions for three decades, serving in Europe and stateside missions administration.

For several years, Janice has been leading and teaching on intercessory prayer for the nations and has spoken at various groups and conferences. She and Dr. McClung have led a local, weekly missions prayer group for 25 years with a desire to see the model reproduced in other churches.

Janice and Grant have two sons and three grandchildren.  She is an accomplished musician, loves singing, playing the piano and song-writing. One of her best known songs (lyrics) is the theme song for Church of God World Missions, Until All Have Heard..

Diane Spicer

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Diane claimed to have “fulfilled the American dream”—married with two children (a boy and a girl), successful career, a big house, maid, nanny, world-travel, well off financially—and yet all this left her longing for something more. If she “had it all”, why was she so unhappy? When she found the answer, her life changed dramatically: from boardroom to laundry room; from sex abuse, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll to ordained minister; from victim to victor; from director of a multi-million dollar toy company in New York to Director of Prison Fellowship Australia-Victoria, teaching life-skills to maximum security prisoners.

Her life story challenged, inspired and encouraged us.
