  An Easter Message

 On April 8 we celebrate the fulfillment of God's greatest promise to mankind.  It started in Genesis 3:14 immediately after the fall when God gave the first promise of redemption--the seed of the woman would crush the head of the serpent, but he would strike the heel of her seed.  In Galatians 4:4-5 we read: "But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons" (NKJV). Jesus came as promised all of those centuries before.  He came for the express purpose of going to Calvary to die on the cross to redeem us from our sins.  And we have the great privilege of commemorating this great, liberating event.  What makes it even greater, we also celebrate the fact that a tomb could not hold our Savior!  He rose again and is now at the right hand of the Father interceding for us.  God keeps His promises.

The Lord has promised great things for Macarthur Worship Centre.  Recently we have been called to a place that we do not know yet.  As we celebrate the fulfillment of the greatest promise ever, it gives us great hope that He will fulfill His promises to us at this time.  Our greatest victories as a church are still ahead.  God keeps His promises!
